Kaely has had a passion for education, advocacy and justice since her earliest years of life. As she grew that became a driving force behind many of her career and life choices. When she began having her children (nearly 14 years ago now!) she recognized the need for all three of those things in the perinatal and postpartum spaces.

Her doula journey began with supporting friends and family, but grew as her children got older to be a full-time business. For the past 6 years she has sustained a beautifully thriving doula business in the DC area helping hundreds of families prepare for, navigate and heal from birth. 

Her journey into doula coach has been much the same as her journey into doula work originally. Born from a desire to share knowledge and support upcoming doulas she began coaching and mentoring and sharing "insider info" if you will. She now has over a year of official doula business coaching under her belt and she is helping to further the profession by supporting, validating, educating, and doulaing other doulas into thriving businesses of their own! 

She is also the podcast host of Doula Tips and Tits - a podcast that's listened to by doulas around the world. While Kaely doesn't believe all doulas should operate the same way, she does believe that doulas should have a level of sustainability in their business practices from the beginning so that burnout rates in our industry can be brought down and doulas can be better supported in their work.
